Office Manager and Dr. Grider’s Wife
Kelley and Dr. Grider met in Dental School. She holds a Dental Assisting Certificate and a Dental Hygiene Degree, both awarded at Indiana University School of Dentistry. Kelley keeps our practice running smoothly, ensuring that the doctors and team are able to focus on what’s important: our patients’ comfort and smiles. She enjoys building lasting relationships with patients and is proud to be part of a top-notch team.
Kelley and Dr. Grider have three sons. They keep her very busy and she spends a lot of time on the various sports fields of middle Tennessee. Kelley is also actively involved in her church and is passionate about mission work. She enjoys traveling, camping, skiing, and crafts.
With her warm smile and easy manner, Angely makes sure her patients feel relaxed and comfortable. She has been part of our team since 2008 treasures the friendships that she’s developed with our patients. Angely records patients’ dental and overall health histories, provides thorough and gentle cleanings, and educates each patient on ways to improve the health of their smile.
Angely is married and has two daughters, Mila and Nyah. She enjoys family time, gardening, and Auburn football.
Lead Dental Assistant, Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
After doing her internship with Dr. Grider, Ariel joined our team in 2011. She loves getting to know our patients and creating a bond with them. She feels that many have become her friends and enjoys seeing them in the community. Ariel assists the doctors with various dental procedures. She supports the doctor and patients at the same time. Ariel has also qualified for expanded functions, which allows her to place fillings and make adjustments.
Ariel and her husband Eric have a little boy, James. They’re animal lovers and have a dog and cat. The family is active with Middle Tennessee Baptist Church, where Ariel and Eric first met.
Cameron joined the Legacy Family Dental team in 2015, bringing passion for helping others with their oral health to our office. Smiling and friendly, Cameron makes sure each patient feels comfortable and safe during their visits. Cameron seats patients in the treatment chair and prepares them to see the doctor, explaining what will happen and why. Cameron also readies the instruments, hands tools to the doctor, and supports the patient. At the end, Cameron answers questions and makes sure the patient is happy with everything that’s happened.
Away from the office, Cameron loves going to church, singing, and watching television.
Esther loves working with our patients, getting to know them on a personal level. Warm and friendly, she enjoys helping people she cares about understand their dental needs and how they can improve their oral health. Esther joined us in 2007, having started work in the dental field in 2002. She handles our hygiene schedule, making sure that patients come in for their regular cleanings, and finding appointment times that work with a family’s busy schedule.
Esther and her great husband, Tim, have eight children and 11 grandchildren: their lives are very busy! Tim and Esther recently built their dream house and enjoy working on it together. She loves gardening, riding bikes, church activities, and being with her family.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Kayla enjoys seeing the look on a patient’s face when treatment is finished: she loves those healthy smiles! Delivering personalized care to each of her patients, Kayla helps determine the best path for improving their oral health. She assesses a person’s mouth, takes X-rays and performs gingival charting. She also offers periodontal care and provides dental education. Kayla joined the Legacy Family Dental team in 2014, after starting work in dental care in 2011.
Kayla and her amazing husband, Jesse, share their lives with their dog. They enjoy hiking at local parks and doing Crossfit. Kayla also likes drinking coffee and trying new restaurants.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Rachel loves helping nervous and anxious patients. She empathizes with them and enjoys helping them move from fear of visiting the dentist to looking forward to their visits. Providing comfortable, individual care, Rachel takes X-rays, cleans teeth, and performs periodontal scaling and root planing. Her passion is helping people understand their dental health and how to improve it. Rachel became part of Legacy Family Dental in 2012, and has worked in the field since 2006.
Rachel and her husband Dan have two young daughters, Layla and Ella. They love being together as a family outdoors, especially when they can find time to go camping. They also enjoy attending church at New Vision Baptist.
Certified Dental Assistant
Has been assisting for over 20yrs Married with one son, Cody, who plays hockey Spare time- Loves spending time with husband and cheering their son on at his games The beach is her happy place.
