Dr. Jamie A. Grider received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 2002. Following his graduation from dental school, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a Lieutenant and served for four years in Beaufort, South Carolina and Pascagoula, Mississippi. During the first of his four years as a Lieutenant, Dr. Grider completed an Advanced General Dentistry Residency program.

Dr. Grider has been nominated and voted for, as one of the top dentists in Rutherford County in the Ruthie’s Awards for several years.

Dr. Grider prides himself on providing high-quality care for his patients. He offers his patients the latest technology and techniques and considers continuing education to be of great importance. He has completed advanced training and certification in the areas of Sedation Dentistry and Implant Dentistry.

Dr. Grider is an active member of the following profession associations:

  • American Dental Association
  • Academy of General Dentistry
  • Tennessee Dental Association

These memberships allow him to learn from the leaders in the profession, as well as access to the latest research findings.

Dr. Grider was born and raised in Kokomo, Indiana. He served our country for two enlistments in the U.S. Navy. Dr. Grider is a Veteran of the Gulf War of 1990-1991, in which he served on the U.S.S. Kennedy.

He and his family relocated to Murfreesboro in 2006 and decided to call this area home. Dr. Grider and his wife, Kelley, have three young boys. Outside of the office, Dr. Grider enjoys camping, woodworking, golfing, attending sporting events and spending time on the ball fields with his boys.

He serves as a Deacon at his church and is actively involved in the community. Dr. Grider values giving back and regularly volunteers at the Interfaith Dental Clinic in Murfreesboro. He has also served countless hours abroad, meeting the dental needs of those living in extreme poverty in the Dominican Republic and Mexico.
